This shift already began by only offering rewards members bonus Stars on Tuesdays and a multi-buy deal on Saturdays instead of the more sought-after BOGO deals or 50% off handcrafted drinks.

Starbucks is also hoping this new strategy will improve efficiency and reduce strain on employees, who get can overwhelmed with work demands when promotions are high.
